Rim to Tyre Offset

There is a small gap between the inside of the tyre and the spring compared with Figure 2. This shows the difference between a deep rim offset and shallow rim offset.

Figure A and Figure B demonstrate how the rim offset can affect where the tyre sits within a mudguard and how mudguard, brake and tyre combinations need to be perfect so customers don’t run out of space.

1. Change to wider mudguards
2. Space the mudguards off the chassis
3. Change rim offsets
