Axle Terminology
Overall Length: The distance from tip of axle to tip of axle, bare.
Hub Face: The face where the hub touches the rim.
Main Chassis: The main frame or skeleton that holds everything together.
Sub-frame: A secondary chassis that bolts to the main chassis. It normally runs length-ways across the width of the main chassis. Most trailers do not have a sub-frame.
