Who We Are

The Meher Group specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of high-quality products for the trailer and recreational vehicle industries. We are a family wholly family owned business since 1995 and have been successfully serving our customer’s needs since then.

Our business revolutionised the boat trailer industry by first introducing the galvanised spring to the market. From there, we have further expanded our capabilities to now galvanise almost all parts used in trailers – from the chassis to the nut. With innovation in our core, we further developed the galvanised finished to a Zinc Tech coating providing our customers far better rust protection.

Our international presence extends across the Asia Pacific region to Africa, North- America, and Europe. Within these locations, our business networks connect to manufacturing services, warehouse facilities, and administration offices.

Our Team

Param Virdi

Founder

Param studied Marine Engineering and became a Chief Engineer on oil tankers traveling the world before he founded The Meher Group in 1995. Using his technical engineering background, he was able to grow The Meher Group to revolutionise the boat and trailer industry with the introduction of the galvanized leaf spring which has since developed to Zinc-Tech.

Monia Virdi

Founder

Monia is the guardian and champion for The Meher Group’s culture. In addition to being the People and Culture lead, Monia brings over 25 years of accounts management experience and has been instrumental in leading The Meher Group to its current success.

Meher Virdi

Chief Executive Officer

Meher holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters of Engineering and has grown The Meher Group to its current global standing. Responsible for expansion to New Zealand, North America and Europe, he has a vision for The Meher Group to become a leader in innovation within the boat and trailer industry. Taking the reigns over from his parents, Param and Monia, Meher is a firm believer in ensuring family values remain embedded in the company.

Dave (Debashish) Sanyal

Chief Financial Officer

Dave brings over 25 years of valuable experience in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Operations, IT and HR Functions. He previously specialised in M&A transactions working at Total S.A. France where he acquired Shell and Chevron. He has also worked in various sectors across the globe. Dave also teaches Finance to undergraduate students at a University in Canada.

Sandeep Abrol

Chief Operating Officer

Sandeep has 35 plus years of leadership experience working in Supply Chain Management and Operations. Prior to joining The Meher Group, Sandeep served in executive roles in India, Australia, China, ASEAN and last as VP Americas for Robert BOSCH. Prior to Bosch, Sandeep led supply chain roles in Hella and Yamaha. Sandeep is a graduate in Industrial and Production Engineering and has various management courses at APICS, CCL and ESMT Berlin to his credit.

Justine Schuller

Chief Commercial Officer

Justine has spent the last 20 years focused on strategic business growth, building strong brands, operational excellence and developing high performing teams. Prior to joining The Meher Group, Justine ran the New Zealand subsidiary of Dometic Group (Publ.). She has led diverse teams in multiple geographies across sales, marketing, customer service, procurement, supply chain and logistic functions.

Robert Hogan

Chief Engineering Officer

Rob brings in extensive experience relating to aircraft, trailer and various agricultural industries. He was previously an Aviation Machinist focusing on great innovative design, precision manufacture and stringent quality assurance of anything mechanical. In his free time, he enjoys farming, engineering, fishing, antique furniture, and machinery restoration.
